For the second step on applications, the preparation of the rest of the materials took me another part of the majority energies. From personal statements, and video introductions, to portfolios and certificate documents, I need to research the different features of each school, conferences, resources, and workshops, these are all really important to know. During this period of research, I have confirmed that I would like to stay in academia for the future, and I want to work in the unis as well. With this vision, I have looked back to all of my previous experiences:
I have been interested in and studied art-related subjects since I was in GCSE. At the time I used to really like drawing, I think drawing can bring happiness to me, so I chose to do illustration for my BA degree in Plymouth, the three-year study made me wonder how to develop drawings further, which leads me to study 2d animation at here (CSM), which I had a great fun. Even though this program has one year to go through the pandemic, I still learned a lot and helped myself to find another future direction. Many people feel that animation is filled with a lack of activities for the animators, but I prefer to create a character to be active everywhere, and I think that it is part of my features.
